Unmatched Throughput

With the INTERCEPTTM Blood System, you can treat 40 platelet units per hour using the INTERCEPT Illuminator, including the time required for preparation, loading and unloading in the UVA illuminator. This high throughput is made possible because the system allows you to treat two illumination containers at the same time, with each illumination container holding two platelet transfusion doses.

The illuminator devices are also stackable (two high) to minimise the footprint in your blood component preparation area.
